Connecting Sonoff Powr 320d to DB

Hi everyone,

My old digital timer finally gave out, and I want to replace it with the Sonoff Powr 320d. The old timer had three connections, live in, neutral in, and live out. This was an easy diy job. I see the Sonoff timer also has a live in and a live out, but it has two neutral connections. Any idea how to go about this? Can I still only connect one neutral, and if so, on which connector? They are not marked in/out, unlike the two live connectors. But I can see from the diagram that one comes in from the DB, and the other one comes back from the geyser.

Looking at the wiring diagram, it looks like its L-in , L-out, N-out, N-In in terms of wiring.

But if you're unsure, then get the wiring diagram yourself and pay an electrician to install it for you.

i see no possible way the old timer had no neutral out , how would the device get power with only a live ?

It would get it from the input.

The neutral for the connecting system likely connects straight onto the db neutral bar and the switch only controls the live line.

If the device did power monitoring then it would need a neutral out.

Yes exactly, thank you. This one does monitor power as well.

I have since figured it out. Did not see the neutral coming from the geyser at first. Neutral from supply going onto neutral bar, and neutral from geyser also going onto neutral bar. So it's just a matter of installing the switch with live in and out, and neutral in and out (taking both from the neutral bar).

It would get it from the input.
