Connecting to Rain network using 4g hspa usb wireless modem

I installed an HSPA usb modem on my laptop and am trying to connect to the rain internet with it. It keeps authenticating and disconnecting. Anyone who has managed to connect, please assisir

rain is a 4G service it won't work on a HSPA modem.

Sorry missed the 4G part in the title, does it show that its getting a signal from rain. If it does it probably just needs the APN settings which is APN: rain USERNAME: rain

It does show network bars but when click connect it starts 'authenticating' until it disconnects. I have tried the username - password combination of (username - rain) and (password rain) it did not work. Also tried the same username with blank password, it did not work. Finally tried with blanks for both username and password and am still getting the same reslut

Set the apn to rain.

try the apn as APN: internet USERNAME: internet with no password
Check if the network mode is set to 4G or Auto. search for a network and manually select rain.

I only managed to use it once on a friend's alcatel router
