Can some-one please advise me on what type of wireless access point to purchase. I have a netgear wireless adsl router but after telkom could not give an installation date, I decided to go wireless with Aerosat in PE. Basically I have a RJ45 network plug that I plug into my pc to access the web from their interface. I am able to plug it into a switch port on the router and also access the web, however I cannot get internet sharing to work with my other PC. I want to purchase a wireless access point to share the network and Internet and get rid of the netgear router. My question is will a standard wireless access point with a wan port work for my DSL connection or do I need a specific device to enable network connectivity. I have tried ICS on the one pc and worked through all the troubleshooting guides, hence my decision to get other hardware. Any help in this regard will be greatly appreicated.
