My adsl modem is a Prolink. I use it with my laptop and there's no problem. But, when I connect it to my pc, it doesn't work.
One thing to note is that the laptop has a usb 2 port and my pc(Pentium 3) has a usb 1.1 port. That's the only difference I see......
