Connection problems...

Im also having problems with iburst in pretoria region. Cant access google or anything.:(
 
I also have a problem in Midrand again.

Cont browse the internet to slow and banking kicks me out takes too long to load.
 
Cant access anything. no website or even via ventrillo or WoW. All tracert just stop at 4th hop.
 
ahh man, why do we pay for this crap.

all those interested, you can browse sites through the free proxy www.anonymouse.org thats how im getting to mybb at the moment.
 
Seems to be upstream problem though MTNBusinness, hope to be resolved soon.

Completely unplayable , kicked from group as i couldn't even log back into game.
Teamspeak also choppy.

Dont want to sound difficult but this is bs. Im studying and have to get my work of the universitys website but cant because i cant access anything! Ive been offline more than 12hours now and it just feels like iburst isnt doing anything to correct it
 
Having the same problem... since early yesterday i havent been able to access gmail and a handfull of other websites. It is really starting to suck.

To make things worse i just spent 30 min being bounced around helpdesk, before being cut off completely.

One of the better solutions was to clear my browsing history...
 
iBurst says that the peering issue is resolved

in their incident report, but I am still definately having problems.
 
Ok . . .been two days now and i stil dont have ANY internet. I must go to internet cafe's just to get my work done. Really now i see why no one likes iburst, their service is pathetic.:mad:

I mailed you last night about the connection issue. I have a static IP.
 
Sorry. That one was directed at tp3to.

I will have a clearer picture in about an hour as to what we can do to aleviate this for the static users.
 
i could only reach like 2 of the 8 sites i usually have open.
traceroutes got to hop 5 (iburst ip which i didnt bring the info for with to work) and there it dies..
could not reach google (or google mail) nor mybroadband nor my WoW server off the static IP last night (same as Monday).

hopeing this gets resolved during the course of today Shaun ??
 
I have the same problem as tp3to. internet has been off since yesterday! i cant go do research for projects, browse or anything else! this is a real problem and needs to be fixed NOW!!
 
If you are not on a static, try disconnecting and reconnecting to a 196 IP.

See if that helps.

Ive called iburst and i must say they were very helpful :D. So now lets hope my internet goes on hehe. Thank you shaun and piladi

I have a static Ip so reconnecting doesn't help. I see that tp3to has called Iburst but my internet is still off... The only site that I can still access is Iburst's site... <bursts into tears and curls up in the corner> :(
