hi, i am using a +-4 years old huawei router(forgot model number but it is the one without antena), the location has full bar of signal very close to a telkom tower. my sim and mobile package is telkom 80g+80g Lte, the one has issue is the secondary sim of my package, i tested connection speed was only 2mb/s of download and upload, my main sim got better speed about 10mb/s with an even older huawei modem(the one with antena). i did called telkom as well, they claimed that my modem is out of date, i need to buy a new and latest modem, i got so confused.
so i am asking for opinion of all champions, is my slow connection speed caused by the old modem?or because it is secondary sim?

Is the APN TelkomInternet or unrestricted?

If you have not tried the unrestricted APN, try that.

Also, Telkom uses band 1, band 3, and band 40. 2100MHz, 1800Mhz, and 2300Mhz respectively. So a Category 6 or Category 19 router (second one, ideally).

Your router should support carrier aggregation - which simply means it supports access to multiple bands simultaneously. Then there's MIMO, multiple-input, multiple-output. Some are 2x2, some are 4x4 etc.
