Console TV suggestions

Hi Guys,

I have never owned a console before and have always played them games on the PC. After looking at the X-Box one and PS4 I think I am leaning towards a PS4.

Since i have mostly been using the PC and my LCD monitor i have never needed a nice TV.

Could you guys recommend a TV to purchase from takeallot or any local supplier that suits the new console needs? I am reading lingo like gaming mode, HD ready, true HD, burn protection, passive 3d, active 3d and much more @_@

I have a Samsung es7100 and it works perfect with the PS4. I haven't tried playing in 3D though. I know Samsung is active 3D (the glasses take batteries etc) and LG is passive. Not too sure about the pros and cons.

You basically want something that can do 1080p and has a few HDMI inputs. Screen size will depend on how far you sit from the TV. 3D is a personal preference, but most of them seem to come with this these days anyway. What's your budget?

Budget up to 4-5k i guess. Size does not matter to me i am use to playing games on smaller LCD pc monitor 22". The screen will not be far from my bed so distance will be close.
