Throughout the day, every day, iBurst randomly drops the connection to sites, both local and international. This has been apparent for a while, but lately it's been getting worse. Today I've experienced around 30 disconnects to one site alone, and it's only lunchtime. As much time is spent logging back in as is spent working.

Weren't these issues supposed to have been resolved at the beginning of the year?

Free additional bandwidth doesn't help much if what you're getting in the first place doesn't work properly. FWIW, I seldom use up my normal allocation anyway.

I'm not a gamer, but I would think that people playing online games would find this as annoying and as unproductive as I do.

Anyone else with similar issues?

I noticed poor performance yesterday and this afternoon have found some sites impossible to connect to thru Iburst but no problem using my 3G connection. Iburst helpdesk say there are Nooooooo problems even though I quoted all the comments to them from yesterday on this forum. Nooooo problems. Iburst most surely has a dishonesty policy at its hindrance desk - sorry help desk.
Advice please: Last year I moved all my email away from Iburst servers, then moved my DNS servers elesewhere too. The consultant said I should set my router's DNS servers to 196.2.97.234 and 196.46.70.10 AND change the MTU to 1352 or 1392 - it was 1492. I can now browse some sites that I could not earlier today, but some I still cannot connect to - except via 3G. Do these settings make sense?
