constant dissconects with Huawei b683 and external antenna

Hi Guys,

Hoping someone has had this issue before and can help me out.

I have a Huawei b683 gateway with a cellc connection, the gateway works perfectly until I connect an external antenna, I thought it might be a fault with the antenna and bought a brand new one from poynting but the issue has continued.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

P.s I have had a look on Huawei site for a possible firmware update, unfortunately they have nothing listed.

According to B683-user-guide.pdf page 6 "You need to first set the antenna mode to external on the management page
(http://192.168.1.1). For details, see Help on the management page."...?
