By chance I stumbled on the website Hellopeter.com. I raised a complaint about poor cellphone signals in Constantia Cape Town.

Lo and behold after months of trying MTN admitted that the tower for Constantia had been dismantled and would not be replaced for the foreseeable future. Bit tough if youve just renewed your contract for a further two years.
Perhaps more complaints on Hellopeter.com might help. For me I have to hold on till June 2007 and then cancell!!

Hmm.. maby its because all those douches in Constantia are ALWAYS complaining about cellphone towers and their "radiation".

If half those housewives had anything to do besides drive in 4X4's maybe there'd be a tower :/

Not saying its you obviously. But Constantia is probably one of the areas with the most cellphones, and also ironically the area with the most complaints about masts.

Yeah, it's a shlep dealing with educated householders isn't it?

No matter how hard one tries to convince them that microwave radiation is good for them, they still see the flaws in the science. Oh life is tricky isn't it ;) If only ALL the customers were ignorant & poorly educated then we could put a mast up every few kilometers.

Go Constantia go ...!

(BTW What's a douche? Is that like the US douchebag?)

Ye, just like the US douchebag.

Well the point is that they use their cellphones to death, they couldn't live without them. Yet they would be that first people to complain if a tower goes up. Not like there needs to be one every few km's. But just as many as they need or as other suburbs have to get good reception.
Like the post said, they now have bad reception, in an area where every house probably has at least 2 or 3 cellphones.

And educated householders? Have ever spoke to some Constantia housewife? They are the same ones you have to try to convince that huge 4x4 to go shopping in ISN'T good for the enviroment.. but they dont give a crap.. and its much more real than cellphone radiation. They just do whatever got on Carte Blanche lately for something to fight about. And the 4x4's.. well it looks cool and everyone else is doing it.

Hey the Constantia elite are different, I admit. I'll bet 100% of those housewives have at least a matric. That's what makes them tricky. It doesn't improve their driving & parking skills that's for sure. If you don't believe me, go and shop at the Constantia Pick 'n Pay ;)

If they wan't to drive 4x4s then let them. The more they spend, the more tax they contribute.

I think the networks need to be more creative. Maybe they should spend a bit of money and put up less, but bigger, less noticeable towers maybe.

In Europe they use smaller base-stations, but there are more.
And if the Constantia types are so dependent on their cellphones then they are keeping the networks in business. They've earned the right to complain.

Only 2-3 cellphones?? We've got about 9 on the go (not including the oldest ones)
