Hi Guys

Been doing some research and I can't seem to find much about them . Hello peter reviews are mostly pathetic especially when it comes time to claim. Does anyone here have any first hand experience with them ? A broker got me a quote for my current policy and they came in over R1000 cheaper which seems too good to be true. I'm currently with discovery and quite happy with there service but I also wouldn't mind saving R1000 every month !
 
Depends what insurance it is for but I know for Vehicle Insurance, R1000 saving off of Discovery isn't actually "too good to be true".

I recently got a price from discovery for my vehicle and it was 2x what i'm currently paying.

Owned by Conduit, a listed JSE company. I had friends that were quite happy with them, but just check on the claims. After you claim too many times in a certain period, they tell you that they won’t insure you anymore.
 
Take care with Constantia. Check Conduit accounts and you'll probably see that they have been making an Underwriting loss which means they have to put capital into the business to prop it up. That can only last a certain amount of time. (note Lion of Africa that has just decided to close it's doors for the same reason.) also, collection agency Insure Group owes them a fortune, and if that is liquidated I imagine there will be carnage with small insurers.
 
Try IEMAS, you will be surprised, and you get cash back every year, regardless if you claimed or not. They also have zero issue at claim stage.
