How much work do you estimate this to be? Can it be done after hours? Deadline?

seriously, we do not think much time as at this stage we just need to put the software into a development phase and remove all the previous developers logo's and anything else that is not relevant and then "modernise" it which mainly is about scripting some functions e.g. automatic updates versus currently it is manual i.e. someone needs to press a button to make it work, then figure out why there are errors. Once this is done we test and evaluate it again for any snags and follow up work. The software is otherwise fairly stable.
