Yeah, I take it almost as a personal affront to be forced to call an 0861 number when needing to talk to anybody - as a matter of principle, I first vent and spit on the poor orc on the other side, demanding another number. These days it usually turns out to be a dumb call centre though, which doesn't help much - I'd imagine my success rate to be about 50%... Hopefully, suppliers/providers/service organisations will eventually come to realise that their clients/customers really are their bread and butter, and they'd better be treated with real courtesy, respect and in an honourable manner...
