First off, this is not a flaming thread. I simply need a solution.
Almost two years ago, I walked in at the Hatfield Telkom shop with my trusty debit card, paid all my accounts and closed all my accounts due to the fact I'm moving.
Imagine my surprise two months later when my previous landlord calls me up to say that there's two Telkom bills addressed to me. Ever since then, I've called them, walked into their shops and the issue won't be resolved.
All I get is new dispute reference numbers and a promise that either someone from Telkom will contact me, or I'll get a new bill stating a zero balance. Neither happens.
Now, the bill has almost doubled and I'm getting legal threats. But what am I to do?
Calling them gets me nowhere (IF the phone gets answered) and the people at the shops give me a blank expression.
