Hi. I just changed from Nokia (5230) to Samsung (Ace) and want to transfer all my contacts. I could not find any export function in OVI, so I exported from Outlook Express (which is always synced) to CSV format. Kies then makes provision for importing CSV. Works great, except that all the zeros in front of the numbers are omitted in CSV format, as well as all the "+" signs. So number 0821234567 becomes 821234567 and +27821234567 becomes 27821234567 !!
Also, I only get 2 numbers, although the CSV file contains Name, Last name, Display name, num1, num2, num3, num4, email. When importing into Kies, there is a stage where field names can be mapped and all 4 number fields are acknowledged here, but finally, only the first 2 is imported
Anybody with some thoughts > I reaaly don't want to go the VCF way, because it seems that it must be done ONE at a time ?
