OK so gf recently swapped her Nokia 9300i for an HTC s710.
Problem is she uses the blower for business (big time) and has way too many contacts to copy to SIM and then just transfer to new phone.

Managed to extract all the contacts as vcards from nokia onto laptop but htf do I get these onto the HTC?
I can't seem to find the folder all contacts are stored in and short of creating an extra profile in Oulook and then syncing the phone with that, I can't think of any short way of doing this

Anyone got any suggestions?

outlook does seem like an answer to me. didn't the HTC come with any "pc suite" software?

Ya it does but it doesn't seem to give any access to the actual contacts folder. I also haven't found any "import" function

Fsk!
Looks like I'll have to do the oulook sync thing

OK, First Sync contacts from NOKIA to outlook.
Then make sure the PC/LT/NB has MS Active Sync 4.5 installed. Then connect HTC to your PC, while it's establish new 'connection relationship' with phone, makesure you check the 'sync contacts' (something similar, you know what I mean) option during setup.
