**** Continual Telkom Adsl Problems Complaint 2 - Nothing gets done*****

I REFER TO MY EARLIER COMPLAINT WHICH WAS POSTED TO THIS FORUM.

NO ONE ATTENDS TO THIS PROBLEM.

Please can you help and send a qualified technician to fix my ADSL line that continues to drop intermittently and have noise. I have logged and reported many faults. I have complied with everything Telkom have suggested - like buying new ADSL filters etc. I suspect there is a cable fault.


This problem is months old and you have sent technicians who DO NOT solve the problem.


I will be asking for a refund for the weeks the problem has not been fixed.

I have dispatched a technician to resolve the issue.

It's a pleasure servicing you.

However, we will require a R300 (Three hundred Rand) deposit before tha technician can proceed with repairs.

Is this deposit required if the problem has resulted from my equipment alone?

Or is it required in general ie. this could be a Telkom fault?

How is the deposit paid?

Dude they're pulling your leg, this is not Telkom.

Call them on 10210 off a landline or go here: http://www.telkom.co.za/today/help/personal/talk-to-us-anchor/ to online chat with an agent.

Oh and DON'T pay any money to anyone from here.

Wow. You are scarily gullible.

What gives you the impression that this is the correct place to log a telkom fault?

Is it perhaps the telkom branding? Oh no can't be that as there is none.

Is it "telkom" in the URL? Oh no can't be that as it isn't there...

However, I know a guy who can install fibre for you at the low low cost of R1000, I need this up front.
