Continuous 3G connectivity problems on Macbook FIXED

Those of you who have read my previous post will know about the ongoing 3G connectivity problems on my Macbook that I was experiencing. The connection seemed to 'freeze' every few minutes and needed to be disconnected / reconnected to get any life.

After much frustration and back-and-forth between Vodacom Support and myself, I isolated the problem to be some type of Mac / modem issue (worked fine on my PC, and fine on the Macbook with MTN software).

Turns out that the Vodacom 3G UI software (v 4.07.02) is broken. I got Vodacom to direct me to a link on Vodafone's business site (link below) to install a newer version (v 4.07.03), and voila, no more issues (for the time being anyways).

I hope this will help anyone else having similar Apple / Vodacom 3G problems...
