I have taken over a Business contract from a friend since he has moved out of the wireless coverage area. This contract is coming to an end in the beginning of January.
Do I need to notify iBurst that the contract will not be renewed or will it terminate automatically?
Can I notify iBurst or do I need to ask my friend to cancel it since it is still on his name?
Payments are made from debit order from my account will that also be stopped?
Will I still be able to use the hardware on a month to month basis on my own account?
What packages/options are available in the R300 range provided it is month to month?

The current contract will convert over to a month to month automatically in Jan.
Your friend will have to cancel the contract.
Debit orders will only stop once you terminated your service.
Once your friend's contract expired, you can open yourself an account and link his modem to your account.
You can get the 10Gb account for R199 on month to month. This gives you 10Gb of data from 08:00 to 23:59. You'll also receive a further 10Gb to use between 00:00 and 07:59.

Hope my answers are clear enough, and I'm sure someone will correct me if I was wrong.

100 % right.

Thanks.
So step 1 get my friend to terminate contract, once this is done I can use the modem on my name.

What steps must be taken to make sure the contract is stopped in time?
Is a call to the helpdesk sufficient or do we need to submit faxes or emails?
