Ok, so my 2 years is over. As i understand, I can cancel at any time. I only need to give 30 days notice. Is this correct?

What I want to know now, is, if I upgrade to a 256 package, do I have to sign another 2 year contract, or can I give only 30 days notice, because my 2 years is up?

Interesting question.

I would think the "contract" would have been because you got the modem for free. So now the modem is probably yours, and you can start going month to month...?

Take care as, in reality, you actually enter into another contract, albeit month to month. They will probably charge the additional month in advance fee to cover non-payment. Nowire pulled that on me when I upgraded to 256, 3 months after my original contract expired

The contract continues on 30 day notice at the reduced price. Just check that debit does reduce, mine didn't but I am assured will be credited next month. We will see.

I must say that despite being passed on three times the young lady that dealt with my enquiry was very efficient.

Good luck with changing. We tried and our whole acc got deleted in the process. Been waiting 4 days now to get back online.
