Contract question

My wife cancelled one of our contracts last month. Why are she charged this month for that contract? How can I see if it's really cancelled ?

Your are having been charging for it because it is 1 calendar month notice. I'm assuming that you don't owe anything (had to pay in to cancel the contract) either. It reverts back to a month-to-month in that case. They don't just deactivate your number.
