Ok, I have been using a little to much that what I am suppose to, so I was suspended today for hitting my limit. :D This was the first time, I actually just wanted to see what happens when you go over it, or at what point in time you get suspended. Im my case it was R50 over the limt that was set.

My question is when does my service get reactivated...

also I still have free SMS messages from this month, I guess I cant use them anymore?

You need to pay into your account so that you go below your limit or after you r debit order goes through - I assume your contract is less than 3 months old?

You are quite right you will not be able to send you free SMS' but you have paid for them. You cannot even call 111 or best of all voicemail - you have to pay to retrieve your messages. Request a credit for your free SMS'. Its not your problem they cannot block only billable calls.

hmm... interesting. No, my contract is 5 months old. I just never went over it, and this month I wanted to see how far they go with soft blocks. Anyways I thought the suspension will go away either 1st of month, or when they do the billing process @ 5th of every month (Nashua, vodacom)

Hi MrG that will depend on where your account is held , or who your SP is, I do know that Nashua Mobile can up your limit temporary until the bill cycle goes through for the new month. They have 3 bill cycles.

So again it depends on your bill cycle. And you wont be able to send sms's or make free calls even if you have them. The phone itself does not register that the call or sms is free, so it is bloacked for all outgoing calls including sms's. The emergency services shud still be available though

My debit order goes off on the 20th of every month, however my usage stats gets reset every 5th. So I dont know which one it will happen at.

I am thinking the 5th. Since thats when it goes back to R0.00 Unbilled

You can see by your cell number. The first 3 numbers are the network and then the next 3 are your SP. for example 082 (VODA) 882( Nashua Mobile) xxxx or 082 412( autopage).. otherwise PM your details and I will check for you

I know I am Nashua Mobile (see posts above), I was just looking into my theory. I will soon find out, but I believe the dates are as follows.

1st of Every Month - Vodacom Issues Bundled Minues/SMS's/DATA etc
5th/6th of Every Month - Nashua Mobile does their billing calculation
1st/10th/20th/28th - (something like that) nashua does the actualy debit order.
- I am on the 20th of every month.

So therefore I gather that in Febuary my suspension will either be removed

1st Feb
5th/6th Feb
or
20th Feb

kk, just called Nashua and they said ALL clients get reset on the 5th
