Hi guys and girls,

I currently own a BB Torch, but I want to get a Galaxy Note as a second phone/tablet thing. I have the cash to buy it prepaid, but I encountered something odd. On a contract at R259pm for 24 months, it will cost me R6216, whereas if I purchase it cash, it will be over R7000. So what I would like to know is whether it would be wise to get it on contract and pump R6300 into the contract and then trash the sim and continue on my current prepaid sim? Are there any hidden charges that I dont know about?

Thanks.

Actually that's the norm with most phones in that getting a phone on contract is cheaper than buying in cash in the long run

Does the R259 include the itemized billing and so forth?
