Contract With Who?

The English HO asked me to enquire of you wise and knowledgeable types,

Next year we be sending two of our offspring to Boarding School and Uni , we want to get them contract mobiles and are unfamiliar about what be the wisest choice as we only use MTC in Namibia.

I realize that you will all have your own merits for your provider, but out of curiosity, if you do have a contract , with who?

And How often do the various providers offer deals to entice potential customers to sign up?

Mac and I have no contracts but we sponsor the 2 kids each a Telkom FreeMe service. Also no contract... it's month to month.
