hey guys

got Devil May Cry 3 special edition for PC

the keyboard config is a bit tricky so was wondering which controller was compatible for it.

It has the games for windows badge so it's been made for the XBOX360 controller. you'll need a wireless receiver for it to work though. PS think you can get it a lot cheaper other places.

Xbox 360 Play & Charge Kit also works.

"Play & Charge Cable enables continuous game play"

Most games today only support Xinput devices. That renders a lot of gamepads semi useless.
Anyone know of a better gamepad which is kinda like the xbox controller, just with a better dpad and cheaper?

awesome

so i just need to get the receiver cuz got an xbox 360 already

sweeet!!!

Unfortunately the game isn't a games for windows title, devil may cry 4 is but not 3, ive heard that it does work with the xbox360 controller but that it might switch the two analogue controls around (ie move with the right instead of the left one), although there is apparently drivers that can fix it.

But ive never used it so i dont know from experience :/

Oh thought he meant nr 4. Doesn't really matter though. Google Xpadder, it's a brilliant little program for gamepads. You can set your gamepad up anyway you wish with that. Takes about 10 minutes to get use to it, but after that it's real easy and it's free.

^^^

Ya xpadder is great, I use it for all the old games that don't support gamepads.

you still need the wireless reciever to sync the controller with the pc, the only thing the p&C kit does is it allows you to play without recharging !

Weird, that doesn't make any sense at all. I'm not on int anymore so I can't research it quickly. My brother has this wireless remote for his RC helicopter which you can plug into pc via usb and it works. Don't see why it will still be wire "less" if it's directly connected the XBOX or in this case PC. Well one way to check is to take out the batteries then try it.

The controller works similiar to a wireless mouse meaning it still requires a wireless reciever to recieve the wireless signal, the play and charge kit cannot distribute signal it only distribute power to the controller ! The P&C kit doesnt make the wireless controller act as a wired one !

if the wireless controller didnt need the reciever then i wouldnt have wasted R250 to buy the wireless reciever.
