controlling XBMC from BB

Hi Guys,

I have install xbmc-live on a spare laptop and everything is working hunky dory.
download wicd tools and got wireless working, so i can play from my NAS.

I've setup the remote control via the web interface in xbmc and can control the xbmc from my PC's web broswer. Problem i have is controlling the xbmc box from my blackberry storm 2 over wireless.

No matter what i do, the browser just wont connect to http://10.0.5.103:8080

my BB get's an ip (10.0.5.105) and i can ping 10.0.5.103 but the browser just wont see it.

Any ideas?

XBMC has an official Android remote which is brilliant and I know there are several iPhone applications in the store so somebody must have done something for blackberry already.

i know you can control it over HTTP, but the BB internet browser does not allow port 8080 and if i can just get the BB to see the HTTP on port 80 somehow...i should be able to connect to a webserver!?!
