I think he was talking about the new 'airtime' that you get, one doesn't get free minutes anymore as far as I know..



You can't convert that contract airtime into data bundles im afraid..

Is this possible?

Nope, you _cannot_ convert MTN Anytime minutes to data at all, however if you know that you will require data usage, then you can add on a Data bundle on an adhoc basis and cancel and reorder as you need.

Data bundles are from 10mb, 100mb increments etc and there is carry over for sixty days from bundle activation, after which any unused data will expire.

This part suggests that it is possible?

But then this part suggests to me that you pay OOB prices and it gets deducted from your airtime.
