Convert speakers to wireless. Possible?

I have a Samsung surround sound speaker system. Due to the nature of the house I live it permanently connecting the (rear) speakers to the mothership will be an unmitigated nightmare.

Which leaves me thinking. Surely in this day and age it is possible to have:
Box A that connects to the mothership
Bluetooth or wifi connection to ...
Box B that connects to wall plug for power and two rear speakers

?

I have found Bluetooth adaptors online (i.e. this), but I am inclined to think this won't work in my case. I want the base station/mothership to beam the signal, not a dedicated Bluetooth device.

Disclaimer: I am a total idiot with anything audio. My ears barely function and ear-to-brain-to-ear functionality is practically non-existent.

Just remember that Bluetooth has limited bandwidth so you will lose audio fidelity, however as these are the rear speakers you probably won't notice too much. The bigger issue would be introducing latency if you're only only connecting 2 of the speakers, as the signal would be out of sync with the rest of the system.

This probably all doesn't matter as that system most likely doesn't have the correct connections to do this anyway.

Hmmm. Any leads on finding something likely suitable in the country? Will then look into compatibility ... (slap myself in face for not buying wireless in the first place).

What about the Chromecast Audio?
He wants two individual rear speakers to be wireless, each still functioning on its own respective audio channel and receiving audio from the same unit that's sending audio to the other speakers in the setup. Chromecast ain't gonna help for that.

Run cable through ceiling. Much simpler and less painful...and cheap.

I would if the ceiling wasn't 12 metres above the TV. And it's pitched and there is far too little space to between the ceiling and the roofing to run a cable across that distance. The easiest ground route needs to cross three doorways.

It's wireless or limited to two speakers.
