Converting protected music files from iTunes

Anybody can assist in pointing me what is the best and easiest way to convert protected iTunes music files to another format (so I can get it to play on my Android phone)

Protected as in DRM??

On the iTunes platform, which he may use on the iTunes platform (and extensions of it)

Downloading that same song/album so he can play it on his device isnt going to hurt the artist because he already paid for it, get it?

That's your moral standing. I'm coming from a legal standing, which you implied by stating he had a right to do so.
 
Wow its been a while. Thanks for the correction.

No worries.
Easiest way to do it is with a Match account. iTunes scans your library for what you have, then those tunes can then be re-downloaded at any time, no DRM in sight and better quality.
 
Are you trying to rip off Apple Music (streaming)?

Bought iTunes songs are DRM free and can just be copied.
