I bought a 1 bedroom apartment early this year in a new development. I took occupation of my unit in September. The past 2 months I paid occupational rent, and at the end of this month I will begin paying my bond.
My issue is a few months ago I went to the attorneys, appointed by the developer, to sign a few documents pertaining to my bond. The attorney who assisted me promised that she will have the signed documents scanned and that she will email them to me. Two/three months later she still hasn't done so. I have sent her numerous email messages and spoke to her a few times over the phone requesting a copy of all the documents that I have signed. The excuse she kept on giving me was that another lady was supposed to do the scanning and hasn't done so.
I don't know what's going on, I don't know if I am going to be scammed or what. For now I am planning to visit their offices next week and see if I can't leave with a copy of documents that I have signed or not.
