Convoy whistle-blower 'racist'

It's funny... in some cases, racism is seen as more than offensive... as a crime... I don't see Cele putting his money where his mouth is and prosecuting this criminal for his racist act of reporting reckless driving by a senior government official.

Then again, maybe Cele is one of those inferior Zulu government guys.
 
I was a prefect in a black school. In the morning we would line up. I would quietly walk to to stand next to anyone I saw speaking without them noticing. I would listen to the conversation, see their mouths move, see their facial expressions and reactions, when I asked them to stop speaking I had 90% deny they were speaking. Those were put on detention, those who said sorry were given a 2nd 3rd even a 54th chance, because they were honest.

It is part of the black culture I have experienced to deny everything, to immediately become self-righteous, claim that they are being singled out and that someone is picking on them for whatever reason.

I used to answer them they weren't special enough to deserve my attention.

The same goes for Cele, if he wasn't doing something wrong he would not be the "victim" of a " "racist". A racist is a bully and would pick on the weakest person he could find.
 
I still don't understand.

The camera wielding "racist" could have been clad in a sheet, with KKK branded on his chest, and the evidence of the speeding would STILL be there. Claiming your accusser as a racist does not diminish your own wrong doing.
 
Releasing a video to a newspaper is sort of like releasing a lurid photo to a radio station. If I was that guy I would've posted the video on YouTube. I don't think any member of the government wouldn't have found it then.

A culture of denial exist in all races.

Its indeed a weak excuse. Bheki Cele should shut up. He is not above the law.
 
The fact that a 'politician' can say such things in public with impunity is most worrying. He doesn't even have a proper argument. He's wrong, but won't accept it.
 
What could be a more clear indication of the peril South Africa's future is in than this debacle?

The fact that he is a politician allows him to say what he wants, when he wants and how he wants.

If anyone finds fault with his statements he is allowed to say that the media quoted him incorrectly
OR
just say sorry and then all goes away

Get use to it, its all over the world like that, they have power and you dont
So just shut-up and continue with your measly 8-5 job which fills the politicians pockets with your tax money

If this guy posts the clip on you tube he will be pursued and either be intimidated or will be sued for character defamation.

Good points edc - admitting we are wrong should be a sign of character strength - why do we so often avoid this at all costs?
 
There was a video recorded, i.e. there was most probably voices on the video as well. You can pretty much always tell when it's a white male's voice.
 
Why is the newspaper hiding the identity of the "whistle-blower"?

Did anyone hear Mr Cele on the call-in show on SAFM this morning?
 
This man should post the video on youtube, before the media decides not to air it anymore, it would be better for him if more people could see the video.
 
ANC officials are steadily moving towards censoring media even more and blatant abuse of power for personal gain or a personal vendetta.

I would make copies of all my legal documentation if I were this man, to ensure even if it is confiscated, I can prove right of ownership if need be.
