Hey guys

Is there such a thing for cellphone Contracts?
We signed up for a bb contract from altech autopage on Monday and the phone was meant to have BIS and its now going onto friday and no BIS and we been calling around everyday for few times a day.

Please do advice if the phone can be returned and the contract cancelled.

^ Well, there's your problem.

haha i didnt know its bad

but yeah few questions ane hopefully someone can help

iv heard its 7days for a cool off period ..is this true ?

I am not quite sure about this, but what I do know is that, as example vehicle financing, if you sign the agreement on the company's premises (even in the banks' office at a dealership) you waive the cool off period.

The cool of period in vehicle financing only applies if it was not sign on the bank's premises.

The same may be true for cellphone contracts?

Did you agree to the phone contract over the phone? Thought cooling off period was only for telesales.

Switch off the phone and take out the battery & sim, then reassemble and power it up.

So I guess that you cannot return a contract phone and get something else?

Received a galaxy pocket 2 days ago and Kies does not want to work on windows 7, tried finding solutions but nothing really dont want to sit with this crap.
