Hi Guys,

I'm looking at coolers, want to get one for my i5-4670k. Budget is around R1k. I don't wanna get anything too overkill for the CPU.

Was looking at these two
http://www.wootware.co.za/corsair-h75-hydro-series-closed-loop-liquid-cpu-cooler.html - R1123

http://www.wootware.co.za/intel-rts2011lc-lga1155-1156-1366-2011-liquid-cpu-cooler.html - R1005

Also what are the benefits of watercooling? Or should I just go with a heatsink and fan option?

Still gonna look around and will post other options here too.

I'm using a Coolermaster Hyper 212X, cpu sits between 29˚C idle and 60˚C under load.
Was a little bit of a mission to install, but nothing major.

I've set my 4670k to boost to 4GHz

Maybe I should just go with an air cooler instead... Perhaps water is an overkill and use the other cash for something else.

Aye, that was one of the reasonings behind my decision. All in all the cpu is plenty fast.

A R600 difference for a few degrees, not worth it imho.

That watercooler doesn't seem to be compatible with the LGA 1150 socket. I'll go with the 212x or the EVO. Thanks guys!

LGA1155 and LGA1150 have the same mounting holes / setup (the stock fans are the same)

Dont waste your time with those small watercooler systems. High end air cooling is better, and cheaper. If your going water, rather make it worth your while and go for the full 240mm radiators. Slightly more expensive, but so much better.

Guys seems like no one has stock of the 212 Evo or the 212 x :crying:

According to Wootware, their supplier is only expecting stock end March early April. I'd suspect there is only one distributor for these products but I may be wrong. Plus I don't think the exchange rate is gonna help here.

I am trying a local store tomorrow to find out if they have stock.

If I can't find stock, are there any other options? If its like 200 or so more it's ok... But I don't wanna go to liquid prices after reading the thread. Seemed like really good coolers though.
