Looking to get some cooling for my pc and would like to try make it as quiet as budget will allow.

Only have my stock cpu cooler and one 120 mm fan.

Suggestions for quiet case fans n cpu cooler?
Possibly some gpu cooling.

i5 4690k
zh87 mobo
Gtx 970
128gb ssd
1tb hdd
650w psu
Cheapy midi tower

My Coolermaster Haf X is whisper quiet with 5 fans. 4x 200mm and 1x 120mm.

The bigger, low rpm fans are definite winners, but they obviously need to fit in your case.

If you only have 120mm vents, the water cooling systems mentioned above are good. I personally like self-contained systems, because if it leaks, I can blame them, not myself.

I tried the cooler Master 120v seidon.
Bought it from take a lot.
The fan was seriously noisy and must have gotten a faulty model beceuse Cpu temp went from 60 to over 70. Pretty sure I set it up correctly. Kept reinstalling it while trying various amounts of thermal paste. Couldn't get the temp below 60.

Not looking to buy a new tower.
Just trying to get some recommendations for different models of cpu cooling, case fans and maybe gpu cooling. Quieter the better

Figured out that the majority of noise I get is from the single case fan I have

That's in special for a k on takealot but out of stock :/

Just wondering, you're not using a fan controller for the radiator fan and plugging that into the sysfan input on the mobo?

the noctua range of fans are extremely quiet and very good at cooling..

Can you provide more details wrt your case?

Bigger lower rpm fans would be better so if you can mount 140mm fans that would be better.

Have a bitfenix comrade midi case.
Think it's max is 120mm.

Ordered 2 deep cool xfan 120mm case fans off take a lot.

Will post a pic of my set up when I'm home later.

Easiest way to quieten your PC ? Get a manual fan controller or set it up in your BIOS with fan curves etc , even mediocre fans can become quiet turned down a bit .

Your GPU will most likely not be a major contributor unless you are gaming, and then you cant hear it anyway.

That seidon 120v is a good cooler ,double check your installation and thermal paste , which fan connector is it plugged into ?
