I was just browsing Prophecy site and went to the Air Cooling section. I see they have:
  • Fan contollers - no idea
  • Case fans - this is your normal fan on the side of the case
  • Chipset cooling - no idea
  • CPU cooling - I suppose this replaces your fan that comes with your CPU?
  • HDD cooling - haven't seen one on a normal pc
  • RAM cooling - Not sure what this is for
  • VGA cooling - I suppose if you do a lot of gaming or some GPU intensive stuff

If I really need to have a cooler, which other one (except CPU cooling) do you think I should take?
Can I have all of them coolers on my pc?:)
 
  • Fan contollers - can control speed, get it if you like fiddling with the speed to have a quiet rig
  • Case fans - important, get some more if temps are on the high side
  • Chipset cooling - not needed, the heatsink on motherboards is enough if you have enough airflow in your case
  • CPU cooling - I suppose this replaces your fan that comes with your CPU? Yes, and is important. A good heatsink here can lower temps by a lot (10-20 degrees)
  • HDD cooling - not needed at all
  • RAM cooling - not needed unless you trying to OC your RAM a lot
  • VGA cooling - The cooling solution on modern GPUs is sufficient (unless its a nvidia 400 series card :p). Not needed

Of course, if you go into water cooling, then everything changes
 
Slight derail / Can someone direct in the direction of a decent GPU water cooler for 5850 and perhaps CPU water cooling but some thing decent?

Dont know of much in the local scene, but you can find lots here
Go for bitspower, koolance, swiftech, they the best imo
 
I was just wondering, would it work if I put my PC in a fridge or freezer, set the temperature to like a few degrees above the minimum operating temp of my PC, spray the entire PC and all components down with something like Q20, WD40, or DWF and then run the cables out?

Just a thought ...

No, condensation will occur and short out your components. When working with beloew zero temps you need to heavily insulate everything against condensation. Even then, you do not put the whole case in the fridge. You essentially set up a loop similar to water cooling and have the radiator in the fridge and then have a heatsink to cool your CPU or whatever. You have to use a liquid that will not freeze below zero obviously.

How about setting the freezer to a constant 1 degree celsius. DWF is a very good water repellent.

Could work, but its a lot of effort for little reward. You'd still be air cooling everything, even if the air is very cold. Thats why the liquid cooled method with a radiator in the fridge works out much better.
 
Actually sub-ambient cooling is much more complicated - this means active cooling. The real concern is any component that is cooled below the real-time/current ambient dewpoint. This will guarantee condensation on said component and obvious results with non-insulated components. I think the point is - do your homework before trying this.
