Cop offered to 'microwave' drunk drivers' blood samples

A police officer who told drunk drivers that he could get them off the hook by microwaving their blood samples not only lost his job but was also convicted of corruption.

Shaun Hoffman‚ a former warrant officer stationed at Pinelands police station in Cape Town‚ was convicted of two counts of corruption in the Bellville Specialised Commercial Crimes Court.
