Agreed. That article says nothing of them joining forces with the ANC which is what everyone claimed was going to happen.

Your clutching at straws, the ANC did not need to form COPE, they had the election won long before man, if anything cope hurt the anc because they fell short of the 2/3's majority because some of the black vote went to cope and not the ANC which would have given them 2/3's.
