Copper theft falls during August

You could say that the only reason copper theft went down is because the copper available in which to steal became so scarce that it affected the stealing of it.

Yep, first thing that came to my mind too... "Maybe because they have nothing more to steal / security precautions making it difficult for them" - but certainly not because the government made copper exports illegal, or because the justice/police system cracked down on the perpetrators... NOOO never. Since my cables got stolen in 2007, I've trenched: that means less copper to steal from me, at the very least.

Gone down se VOET! Ripped most of ours off the walls on Thursday and flooded the courtyard. Had the plumbers take the rest off before the ****er came back for it. J:mad:

The municipality in Durban uses a private security company to monitor and investigate their copper theft.. Police are becoming obsolete in the commercial environment.
