Cops shot while pursuing hijackers in Benoni

Johannesburg - Two police officers were shot and wounded by alleged hijackers in Benoni on the East Rand on Friday morning, Gauteng police said.

Lieutenant-Colonel Lungelo Dlamini said the officers were shot while pursuing a hijacked truck.

"One was shot in the leg and one was shot in the shoulder," he said.

Both officers were taken to hospital.

The truck was later found abandoned in Kempton Park. It was apparently hijacked in Secunda, Mpumalanga.

Three rifles were also recovered.

No arrests had yet been made.

Lord. . .When the cops violate the very laws they are entrusted to uphold and publicly execute someone, then yeah, they will be in trouble.

Don't cry if you are ever pulled over and the police act outside the bounds of the law when dealing with you, because that is what you are basically saying they should be allowed to do.
