Copy files from the desktop into a ramdisk ssh

I got a customer apple device for repairs,its a real old iphone 5.Now booted a ramdisk and logged into the device via ssh and mount mnt2.
I navigated via cli to the var/root/lockdown folder.
I need to copy the activation file and baseband file from the desktop via terminal to that folder on the apple.
I tried using the cp command but its not working.Any advice on this

Why are you trying to do any of this?

It all seems very unnecessary.

And when you said it’s “not working” what does that mean exactly?

Don't you have to use scp (secure copy) ?
