Copy photos to CD.

When I insert a blank CD no win. pops up. Windows Explorer says "Not accessable" Incorrect function.
How do I copy to CD?
 
You could use a program like Nero to create a data CD.

Wasn't there also an old school method where you could drag to the CD in explorer?
 
Or .. you can save yourself the 390 meg Nero 9 download and get this little program called InfraRecord - only 3.6 megs and works just as well. You get to browse for the files, drag them to the window at the bottom and hit record. Pretty easy and efficient (plus support for stuff like UDF file systems for those that want that)

Naa .. not ras hehe - just I got fedup with Nero last night after burning 2 coasters :(
 
no need to download. every DVD/CD writer I have ever bought comes with some software that does the job.
 
I am using Nero 6 which I got with my old PC. XP has no such feature and this laptop did not come with an application.
Vista has a "BURN" in the taskbar in Win Explorer.
 
Drag and drop was with the old stiffie.
 
Read my thread above again. I had an old desktop that had Nero 6. I now have a newish laptop dual core2.
 
I said I had an old (2 years) desktop and I have a new laptop now.

I think there is problem in your cd rom or your blank cd, check it.
