I am after a new cordless mouse and was after some feedback on a few

The ones I am currently looking at are:

Logitech MX Revolution
Logitech MX1000 Laser Cordless Mouse
Logitech MX610 Laser Cordless Mouse
or maybe even
Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse

The key features for me are mini adapter or bluetooth, decent gaming performance and 6 or more buttons. Battery life is also a consideration especially on those no lifer weekends playing wow or such.

What I want to know is what the performance of each of these mice is like and also if anyone has any idea on what the recharge time is like on them.

I have looked mostly at the Logitech's as I have found them to be a decent make, but anyone has any other suggestions let me know.

If you can assist, many thanks.

I'm using a Logitech ... err ... doesn't have a model number on it. Working very nicely and battery life is great, compared to the two I've used before. I also bought a mouse-mat with a fine grid on, supposed to be specially for optical mices, and it's much better than plain desks and somewhat better than other mats.

The other optical meese I've used are a Gigabyte one in "velvet" red - very sexy looking - and a very tiny Belkin one. Neither of these have meaningful product numbers on either. The Belkin has become unreliable on the left-click button but both performed well enough initially; the only problem is that they would use up 2 x 1.5V batteries within a couple of days. I switched to rechargeables (and the Gigiabyte one has the neat feature of being able to add a cable and charge from the computer), but it was still a hassle. When the batteries became drained, the mice would just stop working completely.

The Logitech only needs 1 x 1.5V battery - and when it gets drained (a week or so of 10+ hours a day), the mouse action becomes intermittent (jumps a bit) but is still usable until you can get to a new battery.

If you want to identify models ... I suppose we could compare photos

eta: then I read the bit about buttons. Nope, I'm a traditional 3-button kind of guy.
