Cordless / Wireless Interference

I have a D-Link 604T wireless router at home, and next to it is my cordless phone - nothing fancy like a DECT phone. I seem to be getting interference from the wireless signal on my cordless phone. Is this possible ? Does a cordless phone operate in the same frequency as the router/modem.

some of them do - check in the bottom and see if it mentions the freq range. your wirelss kitt uses the 2.4 GHz range
