Corolla Quest - Bang for buck

Thread title sounds to me like the opening of a cheap Beastiality movie.
 
Bang for buck? Not a chance. Buy a secondhand one in the same shape - you'll save money and get a better-equipped car.

One chickie from "Car Guru" in particular...the irony in the name is humorous.
 
And back on topic...the Quest does represent great value for money IMO but I sat in one & cost cutting vs Gen 10 Corolla base models (no soft touch materials; no split folding backrest; integrated rear headrests; side inductors not incorporated into mirrors) is very apparent.

The old adage you get what you pay for still applies...does beat that boring Almera hands down though...

I got about 40 seconds into that video before I wanted to give that oke a PK for being generally annoying.

Opel starts at R257k... Jetta start from R253k. Cerato sedan from R244k. Focus sedan from R233k. Corolla from R215k and Quest from R175.

Opel is too damn expensive. At least it is not as crazy as the Elantra from R274k!!
