Hi all
I'm looking at getting a Galaxy tab from the US as it's much cheaper than buying them locally. I just wanted to see if anyone knew which would be the correct version to buy as I've read about many complications regarding the tab being network locked.

It seems T-Mobile is one of the companies that provides the Tab in the Sim card version with UMTS/HSDPA support @ 2100mhz, whereas others such as Verizon do not make use of a Sim card. I am specifically looking to use it here on MTN and obviously, at times, use it as a phone (ie: need full phone/internet capability with the device)
Here are two versions I have come across in the US:

Unlocked version - http://xpressphones.vstore.ca/product_info.php/pName/samsung-galaxy-tab-unlocked/cName/samsung
Now in that XDA thread it describes how to unlock the Tab. I would be willing to pay the extra $20 not to go through the hassle of doing it myself, but even if I buy that version, will it be the correct one for use in SA?
