Are we, as a auto shop allowed to sell a vehicle for outstanding costs? If so what is the correct procedures?

A paratie executie clause (authorising you to sell the goods to recover the invoiced cost) can be valid, provided it is agreed upfront, there is a reasonable time to reclaim the items, that attempts to contact the customer have been made and that the goods are either sold at the market price or bought by you at the market price, the difference between the cost of repairs and the market price needs to be retained and accounted for a period of 36 months thereafter the creditor account may be written to revenue.

Does this help?
