Hi guys, I know this might have been asked before.
What is the correct procedure to have someone take over your Vodacom contract?
I got a macbook pro 13" 2 months ago on contract and now my work has also supplied me with a laptop.
Was considering posting this in classifieds.

Laptop is on a mymeg 175 at R480pm.
Whoever takes it can have the 3g modem.
Will also include an Ipad 3g + wifi for free (2 weeks old).

Please remove your number from your post. This is a public forum and you should not post these kind of things.

The procedure is as follows.

1. You find a friend or family member that will take over the contract
2. He/she applies with their SP for a new line
3. Both of you sign the transfer of ownership form
4. The shop that is doing it for you submits it to Vodacom Transfers
5. Line gets transfered to the new owner

Standard credit vetting will be done. If the new client does not meet the criteria, they cant take over the line. R150.00 admin fee applies and will be charged to the new owner via Vodacom bill.

If they are a brand spanking new Vodacom client, then 3 months latest bank statements, ID, latest payslip and proof of physical address must be supplied with the application.
