Corrupted Downloads

Hi,

Since yesterday, all the files I download are corrupted (a proxy server somewhere on the blink, maybe?)

mp3 and wmv files seem to make it through fine, but I think it is because they are much more tolerant to corruption.

exe and zip files, on the other hand all come through corrupted and are therefor useless (I receive a message mentioning a CRC error, or that the archive is corrupted)... so before I start swopping out network cards and heaven knows what, I need to ask:

Anybody else experiencing this?

PS: I'm on ADSL 384 with telkominternet 3gb account. I'm way over my 3gb limit, but still haven't been capped (even after a few resets of the router)

Replaced my crappy on-board lan with a add-in 3com card and all is OK. No more corrupted downloads.

YAH!!!

Just tested with a 6 meg file - appears ok, no problems.

Using Telkominternet on an unshaped account

Dude - what Onboard NW card / Motherboard is it ? I'm using a Gigabyte T100 - and it seems ok, but a heads up would be awesome.

It's an Intel D945GTP motherboard. Piece of crap if you ask me.

(Yeah, I know... should have bought AMD with an ASUS or Gigabyte board etc, yadda yadda yadda )

crc file is corrupted .zip or .rar files nothing to do with connection or your nc
