So I swopped out the broken wiper mechanism last week (and still no rain...) and then quickly replaced my air filter..I dont drive too many km's but I do drive a lot on dirt roads so I replace once a year or so.

Also filled up at a petrol station I dont usually use..But I already had half a tank so I cant see that being an issue?

Went for a 70km drive on Friday with no issues...
Just got back from a mates house 10km away and it feels like the car is not getting enough fuel/air, having to go up a hill in 3rd gear and not 5th as I usually would be able to...

I let it cool down and went to start it, revved it up a bit for the neighbours and had a quick visual look and no issues at the moment..Coil pack doesnt feel hot and the plugs are also only a couple of years old. There seems to be spark across all cyclinders.

Im wondering if some dirt didnt get sucked in when I swopped out the air filter? Fuel filter was replaced about 6 months ago when the fuel pump was replaced...Up until today the car has been running perfectly.

How much use are these injector cleaner additives you get from Midas etc to clean the injectors?
Waste of R150 odd or should I just chuck some in and see what happens...Im worried about damaging seals and O rings...

The fuel pump relay is a common issue on the corsa b so add that to your list if things to check.

Sorted....was the coil pack. One of those faults that just hangs around, causes trouble then acts all normal for a while...
