i now have 2 transend and one corsair 1 gig making 2 gigs

will there be problems with having 2 different rams modules in?

Yes there will, You PC will do one of a few things.

It will accept it willingly and everything will work.
It will bitch and moan about the timings
It will work for a while and start giving you problems
It will work but not be as stable
It will not work at all.

Hard to tell what it would do, but it will be something along these lines

@ person: lol, ouch

@ killa: Are you sure you want to sacrifice dual channel mode by not having matching pairs, or did you not have it in the first place?

dont have a dual channel board

so makes no diff in my life :)

I am running both Kingston and Corsair in the same box with no problem. Running Dual Channel with one channel being Kingston and the other corsair.

Have had no problems at all. In the other PC I am running Transcend and Kinston.
